This place was lovely inside and out. My brother got married here on 06/07/2024 and the experience was top tier.Thank you Wajid, and staff for accommodating our never-ending last minute requests. From the food and service, to the decoration and ambiance, we would highly recommend this venue for any couple looking to make their big day a memorable one.

Attended a wedding, car park was great however there was a very rude waitress who not only was insulting she swore at a guest and used vulgar language. In hospitality this is unacceptable, her sister also worked there waitressing and informed guests the rude girl was only 14years old. Management apologised and asked the girl to apologise but informed that she was 16 and had been working there for 3 years. Then, the sister of the girl said she is only 15. So either the venue hires underage staff illegally under working age or a lot of lying and false information. The worst hospitality I have ever experienced at a wedding.
Firstly, and most importantly what a venue, what staff and what great facilities.. on Friday 28th June my nephews wedding and the entire process went to plan and thanks to then Marigold staff… the venue is amazing, the seating and reception was amazing too. To add to the brilliant service we lost a gold ring in the lovely garden and within 24 hrs we got a call from Zara giving us the great news that the staff had located it and was ready to be picked up.. a very very good job by the staff and so honest and trustworthy.. I would recommend the venue to anyone considering hosting a wedding or party.
Held my Daughter's Walima with about 300 guests in June24. Fantastic venue, very spacious with beautiful deco. The garden area is excellent for photos and can even accommodate 2xAlpacas!The staff were great, the event was well organised and managed. Special thanks to Marium, she was very patient, polite and caring from start to finish. Every detail was managed well, thank you for the cool drinks in the garden, with straws for the ladies so the lipstick stays in tack - great idea!Please convey my sincere thanks and gratitude to all the staff, parking attendant, drinks, kitchen, serving and management and others we did not even see - the sink staff. You all made it work and gave us a very happy day and many warm memories to treasure for ever.Suhel (Father of the bride).
We had recently attended this wedding. Although the hall in itself was beautiful, the staff were very difficult to deal with. Like all parents, there is such a mental challenge with going to weddings. As my child was eating, he dropped food on the floor. I tried my best to prevent this, but inevitably this kept happening. A member of staff with her dustpan and brush kept coming up to us and cleaning up. Everyone at our table found this irritating after a while, especially because it kept triggering my child as well. We really could not enjoy our meal. We had moved our baby chair to help ease the process, but another member staff started shouting to move the high chair back. But that would mean my child would sit with a bunch of strangers. I don’t expect the hall to cater to my child’s needs, however, don’t unnecessarily make the process even harder for us. It all felt very unnecessary and horrible for us and the strangers at the table who also agreed that the staff were quite rude. The wedding was beautiful, but I can’t help but wonder could the staff change their attitudes to help guests enjoy their experience as a whole. I am not expecting special treatment, but to make us and our child uncomfortable was really not right.

Nice venue, enjoyed my day here. Weather was amazing on the day aswell. Food came on time which was great, staff were great plus was looked after by the head waiter (male). I forgot the wedding papers towards the end and luckily he got them to me.
We have been to many venues around Birmingham but this stands out from the rest. From the venue itself to staff and the service; second to none. I would highly recommend The Marigold to all future couples as you certainly won’t be disappointed.
This is my second wedding attendance at the marigold. This is an immaculate venue beautifully presented. The food is delicious and the variety is amazing. They have beautiful gardens for creating memorable moments. There are prayer facilities available.

Went to a Walima and this is my opinion.The place is very easy to get to if you are travelling from afar as I was so it’s basically off the M6 motorway so that was great, the place was absolutely amazing with excellent parking and it was very clean I must say it also had a place outside the hall for praying namaaz.The food was outstanding but the best thing about this was the outstanding service and timing of the food being served .Overall i absolutely loved it with excellent service and very friendly staff it was great definitely 5 stars and would definitely recommend.
Beautiful venue; best in management and hygiene is next to none and better than even some of the five star hotels and event venues we have worked at. If you want a gorgeous venue that also takes away all your concerns on the big day with a strong event management team then The Marigold is the one for you.

Attended a wedding here, what an amazing experience from the car park attenders to the cleaners at the end everyone was very hospitable, kind and accommodating to all our needs. Beautiful venue with great clean facilities including wudhu and prayer facilities available. A shame we never got to used the outdoor area which also looked very beautiful as it was an evening wedding.Look forward to attending a function here again!
Went for a wedding, the place is so perfect for a wedding. Car park available for a smcertain amount of crowd, and it has been maintained and organised by the venue. Services, from parking to the complete, are fantastic. It is very hard to find any falls.Service staff are friendly and provided fantastic five-star service. The hall event has been organised very well, as a guest we did not feel any downside or wrong here with any services. Food services provided by a third party recommended by the venue, and its fantastic menu and taste is great.This place has a mosque, separate arrangement for ladies, and a completely separate area. Toilet facilities have been maintained well.It's definitely worth the price anyone pays g for an event in this place.***** Please note this review given from the guest or participant view. As if someone booked here, could have different opinions or views. But, as a guest, halalencounter had a fantastic time in this venue.
Great surprise to see such high quality wedding service provided by 'Desi folk's. Venue, service, food quality, decor all great + prayer hall & huge parking. A delightful experience, no hesitation to highly recommend it
Had the chance to attend a wedding at the marigold last week. Exceptional and High end is all I can say from the actual beauty of the marigold. Never had service of the food to a 5 star and wedding planning done by the planners at marigold to make a such a beautiful experience,Thankyou
We had our eldest son’s wedding reception at The Marigold last weekend and wow! we couldn’t be more happier with how everything went! First, Moriom, the event manager and part of the booking team, was simply outstanding. She was courteous and highly professional and was simply amazing to work with. We were complete novices in this field and our concerns were quickly put to rest by the management and organisational aspects of the whole venue. The welcoming atmosphere as soon as you drive through the gates only draws you in even further. The huge car park on your left and as you enter the building, the wonderful reception area, sleek, modern yet elegantly decorated and then you have the stunning main hall which easily accommodated our 300 guests and the second floor we booked for 200 more.However, in our opinion, the pièces de résistance was its beautiful garden. The main hall overlooks this gorgeous site.The bridal suite is separated from the main building. Extremely convenient, no sneak peeks at the bride! but the suite can be easily accessible whether it be rain or shine. The venue has a separate prayer room. In a nutshell, the layout and facilities are exceptional.Our evening event was beautifully choreographed around the itinerary ( coordinated by Moriom and her team) providing a huge amount of praise from our guests. The food was on level par and simply exquisite.All and all, my wife and I, more so the bride and groom were extremely happy with this venue and we would recommend it without hesitation.

This venue is absolutely beautiful & elegant can’t go wrong with it, it’s the perfect venue!Wow!! The Marigold team were superb they did a fantastic job. Communication & the service we received were incredible!! They looked after me from the day I stepped into the venue until the end of my big day. We had received a lot of compliments from the guest how organised it was & smoothly it went.Those who are looking for a venue Marigold will not let you down.Well a big Thank you to Moriom she was fantastic throughout she did a amazing job don’t have words to explain how good she was.
We held our Son's wedding for 220 people. The event was perfectly planned to 15min intervals. Wahjid the manager coordinated the entire event wonderful. He was respectful and understanding of everyones requirements. Thank you Merigold and Wahjid, 5 ⭐.
Beautiful venue for weddings and parties.. spacious. And a lovely garden for photo shoots and for the kids to have races or play. Food is nice.. i wish they had ice for the drinks.. staff are fantastic.
